Andy Shettle – Head of Products at Conformity Software discusses a couple of recent enhancements that were requested by customers and the benefits they deliver.
HR case management is not just about managing cases day-to-day, it’s also about providing wider assurance throughout an organisation; to the employee going through a process to the CHRO and CEO that cases and HR policies are being followed correctly and the policies are up to date.
Over the past few months we’ve released in to CaseworkER several new features following customer feedback around their need to provide additional assurance:
Client definable case risk management – this has become more important for customers when managing cases so that additional visibility can be applied to these higher risk cases and managed by someone with the relevant experience. It also allows for those lower risk cases to have a justification entered why a lower level risk was selected ensuring each case is initially reviewed. Cases can evolve once they have started, therefore, re assessing and modifying the risk levels and justification is now possible. To provide additional visibility, the higher risk cases are displayed on the users and HR line managers dashboard, along with the daily digest email.
HR policy review notifications – How many organisations have a process for alerting HR that HR policies require a review? CaseworkER now allows for a policy review date to be entered and a proactive email reminder is sent to the assigned users advising a review is required. As best practice, policies should be reviewed annually or as and when wider organisational or employment law changes require.
As a company, we continually stay in touch with our customers ensuring their HR case management and assurance needs are being met and exceeded. Do keep an eye out for future product updates.
